Back in Nebraska for a busy weekend during which we gathered cows, hayed the meadow (J did, not me), played with five Great Pyrenees puppies, kayaked down the Middle Loup River, camped in some pastures owned by J's family down in Broken Bow, and checked out the Custer County Fair. Another whirlwind of a trip, but totally worth the long drive.
They don't call it The Good Life for nothing.
Anyone want to buy a puppy? J's parents are helping a neighbor sell four
of these adorable little guys (and gals)

They may not look like it, but yearlings are difficult SOBs

J's version of kayaking
I quickly learned that kayaking at 7 months pregnant is exhausting
