We had another lovely and all too short visit with the Grandparents Parsons.
Grandma threatened to break the camera if we took a picture of her. Something about not
wanting to be memorialized in her old age.
And then, a lengthy drive across the Nevada emptiness. But emptiness at least meant zero traffic
and no curves in the road, so I drove for a few hours.
Utah is a beautiful state. We'd move there.
After nine hours, we made it to Moab and crashed at the Red Cliffs Lodge. It was a stunning locale, though 14 miles off the beaten path. Check out the view from the restaurant:
