Go Spurs Go!

Last night, J and I attended our first pro basketball game ever, thanks to our neighbor who gave us his season tickets to the Spurs.

We had great seats, I'll give you that.

But we had some trouble getting ourselves to care about the game.

Neither of us is a huge basketball fan. That, plus the ADD "entertainment" (watching grown men lunge for free t-shirts wasn't the worst of it), the incessant camera shots of the crowd (amazing what people will do to get on the big screen), and the crazy loud music (how do the players concentrate?)...well, the game felt rather long. We may have snuck out early--the Spurs were up by 30 points when we left at the beginning of the fourth. Still, it was a fun experience and an interesting anthropological study at that.
