Forts and Beer

Friday was a cold and rainy day for walking around Salzburg, and neither J nor I were dressed properly for the weather. Still, we braved the elements and trekked up Festungsberg Mountain (more like Festungsberg Hill) to check out Fort Hohensalzburg, a castle whose construction began in 1077, and the Augustiner Bräu Stübe, a giant beer hall that can hold up to 2,000 people. Both were amazing sites full of history, and we loved each...for very different reasons.
