Babymoon Recap: Santorini, Day 2

Another early morning on Santorini -- we couldn't seem to sleep in, but that just meant we had the entire island to ourselves again. Breakfast consisted of fresh bread, pastries, and coffee from a local bakery (the only establishment open at seven in the morning) run by a mother and son. We fueled up and readied ourselves for a long day of travel: flights from Santorini to Athens, Athens to Istanbul, and Istanbul to Izmir, all of which were followed by a one hour train ride from Izmir to Selçuk and a partially uphill trek from the Selçuk train station to the guest house. When you only have six days to see Greece and Turkey, you do what you have to do. Next up: photos of Ephesus.
