Sand Between the Toes

Sunday afternoon, yours truly *drove* to Minuteman and Seal Beaches on Vandenberg. The roads were longer and more winding than expected, but having an enormous stretch of coastline to ourselves made the drive totally worth it. I'm loving the warm weather and our proximity to the ocean--I feel like this is my reward after a summer of heat and traffic and car exhaust in San Antonio.

Tomorrow, we're headed to see my parents for Thanksgiving after J gets out of class. It'll be a short stay, given that they're leaving for yet another cruise on Saturday morning. Should be an interesting visit.
