Church Lady

This morning, I went to church with the fam. I love the Methodist church community in Mullen, minus the fact that the service started at 8am. The sermon was great though, and was followed by a fall festival that included a silent auction, bake sale, crafts sale, and huge dinner--there were at least ten different kinds of salad (pasta, veggie, taco, jello, and other assorted creamy stuff), Salisbury steak, corn, green beans, and baked potatoes...followed by SIXTEEN different kinds of pie, all homemade. I think half the town came out for the food. Have I mentioned how much I love small town America?
