Status Update

Greetings from Germany. I apologize for my long absence, but I have a good excuse: yours truly was robbed of all of her valuables--passport, credit cards, cash, driver's license, camera, laptop, iPhone--half an hour after landing in Peru. Yep, good times.

Will blog more later once I get a new laptop, but for now, I'm recovering from the trip (and subsequent sickness) at J's and will continue to be ensconced here until Thanksgiving, after which I'll fly home and start putting my life back together. It's been an interesting adventure, and quite the rough one at times. But we survived...and hey, we actually made it to Machu Picchu, which was amazing.
