Top of the (Free) World

A few photos from the Capitol Dome tour--

This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, as Capitol Dome tours are fairly difficult to come by. Tours to the top of the Dome can only be taken if a member accompanies the tour group and guide. If your member is too busy, too old, or doesn't feel like climbing 365 steps, then you're pretty much out of luck. Since my boss is older and our office is closing for good, an exception was made so that our Chief of Staff could stand in for the member.

The trip to the top of the Dome was an amazing experience and the view breathtaking. Definitely something I'll remember for a long time.
